Lyhre composed, sound-designed, produced and performs live the Soundtrack for
The Oresteia directed by Thomas Krupa.
Lyhre’s research-driven approach is here rooted in the exploration of post-patriarchal receptions of antiquity.
The first release within this project interrogates the notion of victory and cost of winning within patriarchal structures, examining how power and knowledge are mutually constituting each other- defining the perspectives, narratives and consensus of an era.
Lyhre delivers with ‘Victory’ a hard-hitting sisterhood anthem, serving her elaborate lyricism while pounding the piano keys to alt-pop for all so constructed misfits.
